Mentor check-ins
As you get closer to your due date, and after your baby is born, your perinatal mentor will check in with you frequently. We want to know how you are coping physically, emotionally, and practically. We're here to listen to whatever is on your mind and to make sure you receive the care and support you need.
Support groups
MAYA's weekly postpartum support group is facilitated by a counselor and a postpartum specialist. We meet on Zoom, so come as you are and know that this is a safe space where you can be just be yourself in the company of other parents.
Currently, MAYA's postpartum support group meets Thursdays 2-3:15pm. See this week's events.

Therapy
At least one in five parents experiences perinatal mood disorders during pregnancy or the year after birth. Talking with a therapist is an important part of the healing process. We have therapists on staff and can make referrals as needed. There is no cost to our services.
Parents can enroll in MAYA at anytime during pregnancy or up to 12 months postpartum.
To enroll, call 412-945-7670, email fabiola@mayaorganization.org or fill out this online form.
